SEPTEMBER AUTUMN EQUINOX 2023: INTENSE ENERGIES ARE COMING OUR WAY, SO STAY CALM

The September 23rd Equinox signifies a pivotal moment within the astrological calendar, signaling a shift in energy and the initiation of changes, evolution, and personal growth. When we view the astrological year as a whole, this Equinox becomes a significant midpoint, marking the commencement of our journey through the chapter we've been immersed in. While the culmination of this journey awaits us until the March Equinox, now is an opportune time to reflect on our path and shape its outcome.

Consider how you envision the conclusion of this chapter. What aspirations do you hold for the remainder of your narrative? As the author of your own life story, it's important to acknowledge that while we can't always dictate life's course, Equinox provides a favorable moment to articulate our needs and desires to the Universe, ourselves, and others.

The Equinox and the Delicate Veil

Traditionally, the Equinox has been a revered time when the boundary separating the physical and spiritual realms becomes thinner, allowing for an elevation in the planet's energy frequency and harmony. This Equinox influences Earth as a whole, a transition also reflected in the changing of seasons.

In the Northern Hemisphere, nature embarks on a process of shedding and letting go, while in the Southern Hemisphere, it begins to bloom and flourish. Regardless of our geographical location, we can all sense this energy shift coursing through our lives. Some things may need release, while others are poised to flourish.

With the Equinox approaching, we gain the clarity to discern what requires expansion and what needs restraint. It's an opportunity to determine our priorities, allocate our energy, and set our intentions.

Spending purposeful time outdoors, connecting with nature, can offer profound harmony and healing, especially if we feel off-balance or seek alignment with Mother Earth's energies.

The September Equinox and the Onset of Libra Season

The September Equinox heralds the arrival of Libra Season, associated with the quest for equilibrium and the delicate balance between giving and receiving in our lives. Libra also symbolizes the interplay between self and others, defining who we become within our relationships.

Reflection on your interactions with others becomes essential. Do you find yourself becoming a better version of yourself when certain individuals are present? Do specific relationships compel growth by triggering deep-seated traumas and subconscious behaviors? Are there connections that bring joy and reinforce your happiness, while others seem one-sided or maintained solely for professional or peacekeeping reasons?

Relationships, in their various forms, often serve as our most profound teachers, essential for our growth and self-discovery.

If you're inclined to explore your relationships further, the energies of the Equinox and Libra Season can offer valuable insights. Here's a journal exercise to start your introspection:

Contemplate your closest, most impactful, or most challenging relationship, pondering these questions. Take your time, trust your intuition, and allow your answers to emerge organically. These questions aim to stimulate new ideas and insights rather than demanding complete responses:

What lessons do you believe this relationship is imparting?

Do you perceive this relationship as karmic or woven into your soul's contract? If so, what do you believe its ultimate purpose is?

Could you be projecting or wishing for change within this relationship?

Are you genuinely listening and communicating clearly in this relationship, or are assumptions clouding your interactions?

Is there something that requires transformation within this relationship, and can that change commence with you?

How can you bring out your best self within this relationship?

What aspects of yourself thrive in this connection, and which ones feel suppressed?

Additionally, you can engage in a potent Equinox Ritual:

Autumn Equinox Ritual

This ritual is designed to help you release the past, dispel negative beliefs or emotions, and prepare for new beginnings.

Materials:

Assorted dried or fresh herbs (herbal tea works well)

Water bowl

1 Candle (white, yellow, green, brown, orange, or red)

Your favorite crystal

Pen and paper

Find a quiet, undisturbed space for the ritual. Place the lit candle next to the bowl of water.

Begin a short meditation while holding your crystal to clear your mind and promote release. Take five deep breaths in and five deep breaths out.

Add the herbs to the water, experimenting with herbal teas like chamomile (remove them from the tea bag first).

Stir the herb-infused water five times clockwise to generate energy.

Write down what you wish to let go of in your life on the paper.

Verbally declare your intention to release three times. Fold the paper and immerse it in the herb-infused water.

Swipe your finger through the water three, seven, or nine more times, observing how the paper becomes increasingly soggy.

Place the bowl against your heart's center. When ready, utter aloud, "I release this," and pour out the water, whether outside, in the sink, or in the bathtub.

Discard the herbs in your garden or an outdoor area.

Keep the candle burning as long as possible, but ensure it's not left unattended.

These rituals are meant to be adapted according to your intuition and guidance, allowing you to personalize them as needed.
